Combined with rubber, the cork, with its numerous qualities, becomes a very versatile material. It does not absorb, remains flexible and resists effectively to products such as oil, gasoline, ethylene or glycol. The cork rubber is often used as sealing joints for reservoirs, gearboxes, electric motors or transformers.
