The G7 is a utility grade, glass fabric combined with a silicone resin system. It offers excellent mechanical and electrical characteristics, as well as high temperature insulative properties. This material can withstand short-term exposure temperatures of up to 1112°F and continuously up to 428°F.
It is used in most heating, appliance insulation and some bearing applications.
