The latest version of the well-known «Weldstop®» fabric exhibits much greater resistance to long term exposure to high temperatures without degradation. Its ability to withstand molten metal splash and penetration by flame has been enhanced by recent developments in the Weldstop® finish.

Applications //

This fabric is intended for uses such as annealing blankets, stress-relieving insulation during heat treatment and controlled cooling operation in the metal industries. It is alos for screens, protective covers to protect personnel and equipment during flame cutting, gouging and welding operations. The Weldstop® fabric provides the most effective small cavity fire barrier for buildings and vessels.

Weldstop finish //

A specially formulated finish to give high temperature performance where resistance to sparks and molten metal splash may be needed. Heavy weight glass cloth Weldstop finish can resist and contain molten splash at 1200°C (2190°F) depending on the configuration of the cloth.
