SIGHT GLASS

Corning Pyrex® Brand 3/4” Annular Edge Sight Glass //

Annular edge glasses are molded, but the raised rims have been ground flat to give 1/2” wide gasket surfaces needed for pressure service. Custom sight glasses for pressure application can be fabricated from Pyrex® ground and polished plat glass. There is an added feature of all Pyrex® annular edge glasses. A label of the face of each piece shows the type, nominal dimensions, temperature limit and pressure rating. This identification eliminates confusion when replacement is needed.

Size available : 4” – 5” – 6” – 6 3/4” – 8 3/8”
Temperature:
Plain : 400°F (204°C) maximum service (annealed)
High pressure : 500°F (260°C) maximum service (tempered)


Borosilicate Glass //

Borosilicate sight glasses are essential in many chemical and industrial processes for observation of high temperature and high pressure operations. Available in rectangles, squares and circles, cut to your size and specification. The edges are cut and swiped or ground.
