ORKOT HTG-H incorporates special aramid fibres known as Nomex combined with a high performance Vinyl Eester resin and graphite, making it suitable for high temperature applications. The addition of graphite improves lubrication of the material and gives it a better wear resistance..

Applications //

The Orkot HTG-H is an excellent insulating material and may be used in many electrical applications. As bushings or washers, Orkot is suitable for use in dynamos, electric motors, generators, etc. As flat laminate it can be used in heavy switchgear, transformers, insulating chassis and as general construction material. "Orkot" is non-magnetic and does not build-up static charges. These properties may often be exploited to advantage where interference with magnetic or electrical fields or accumulation of static electricity must be avoided.
