The neoprene application make these cloths well sealed and gives them a better resistance to oils and greases while decreasing the risks of cracking. The neoprene is also employed to increase the longevity of the cloths that are used for welding screens.

This very thick material is impregnated with a neoprene solution and of a flame-retardant composition.
