KC 2200 is an exceptionally rugged fabric that stands up to abrasive, high-heat environments. The outstanding strength characteristics are achieved by using DuPont's Kevlar® aramid fiber. It gets added heat protection from a 1 000°F fiberglass core which is imbedded in the center of each strand of yarn.

Applications //
KC 2200 products have found many applications outside of safety clothing, including expansion joints, hose covering, conveyor belting and cable insulation.
