3R’s fiberglass ropes and tapes are fabricated from first-class fiberglass yarn. The construction of the gasketing is such that users can cut the fiberglass ropes and tapes with a minimum amount of fraying. This construction offers more stability and flexibility permitting an easy fit to the multiple applications for which it is required. This product resists a wide number of chemical substances and is applicable for temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C).

Applications //

Our fiberglass knitted ropes and tapes can be used for stove and fireplace doors, boilers, industrial or residential furnaces, «Tadpole» Gaskets, pipe insulating lagging, ships and shipyards and any other insulating products applications.

Theses fiberglass ropes and tapes are available on spools of 100 feet or in boxes of 1000 feet,
except the TXP 022 to TXP 026 are in rolls of 50 feet. To facilitate the installation, we offer a sodium silicate based glue available in 2 ounces or 1 litre bottles.
