Graphite lubricant
This water base lubricant contains 22% synthetic graphite and a special high temperature additive. It is used for forging and metalworking applications at high temperatures. The 3R31118 is normally diluted with water at a varying ratio of 1:1 to 7:1 depending on the application. It is strongly recommended to preheat surfaces before application.

Applications
This material can be used in particular for forging at high temperatures for aluminum, brass and copper extrusion. It is also recommended for the casting of billets, the coating of the ingot molds, and as a lubricant for die casting dies.
