PRECOAT / DIE LUBRICANT

The 3R 31118* is a semi-colloidal, water-based graphite concentrate formulated with special high-temperature additives for use in hot forging and other difficult metalworking applications.*

Hot Forging Lubricant, Aluminium, Copper, and Brass Extrusion Die Lubricant and Billet Pre-coat Aluminium Casting Mold Release.

Method of Use //

Normally diluted with water before application. Dilution ratios can vary from 1:1 to 7:1 depending on the particular application or method of application. Film formation is best achieved on preheated surfaces. Upon dilution, proper agitation should be employed to maintain graphite in suspension during application. To prevent contamination, container should be kept sealed when not in use.
