The ceramic twisted rope 3R 2000 SIL is made with many strands of ceramic twisted together to make a soft rope resisting to 2000°F.
 

Applications//

This rope offers the same properties of the 3R 2650 SIL ropes and conforms easily to uneven surfaces. They have a good chemical resistance with the exceptions of hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis. Commonly used for furnace door insulation, oven door and high temperature gasketing.
